What was your idea behind this work?

What if object could show us the way to reconnect to our senses? Let's go through the intimacy of two persons exploring their body senses thanks to the jewelries. It is a seductive game between two persons that involved each of their sense successively. In this inner journey, the dancers find their balance by tuning their emotions.

What drives your enthusiasm the most?

The excitation of new ideas bubbling in my head and the challenge to make them alive.

Do you have any inspirational words that motivates, pushes or supports your creativity?

"One should either be a work of art, or wear a work of art."

– Oscar Wilde –

Why do you collaborate with dancers?

I have always been obsessed with the body and movement in my artistic work. Dancers are the most conscious, sensitive people. They place their body at the center of their life and connect to it. I find similarity with them in terms of consciousness and sensitivity towards the body – what I am different is that I don’t use my own body but have other creative outlets, like jewelry making and visual creation. I often question the connection between the shape and body form through my works. So as soon as I started to make film, it was obvious I had to collaborate with them, to create a resonance in space, which invite people to an immersive universe.

How do you perceive the relationship between dance and your works?

Dance is a language led by emotions. So is my creation, they simply resonate together. It completes my body sculptures, and my creation sublimes the dancer’s body. They draw together in space. It is an experience which is a result of the interaction between the body and its environment that lasts for a moment. It is unique. Dance is the act of inscribing your body in a space like a line on a page – A sensual line that balances our perception of matter and forms.
